Hannibal Shelving to Unveil New Factory at PROMAT 2015

For the third time since its inception, Hannibal Shelving will be exhibiting at the annual PROMAT show. This year, Hannibal has big announcements to the world of industrial shelving and storage solutions.

PROMAT 2015 Features Shelving Solutions Industry Leaders

From March 23 to 26, all the biggest names in the manufacturing and supply chain industry will converge upon Chicago’s McCormick Place South to confer, share, learn & grow together at the PROMAT show.

Over the course of 4 days, more than 800 industry professionals will discuss the latest trends, technologies, and innovations in more than 100 sessions. These sessions will consist of show floor seminars, networking opportunities, and keynote speeches. The end result of shows like these: The best can only get better.

PROMAT Keynotes, Seminars, and More

Some of the highlights of the show include: Keynote speeches with some high-ranking influencers: John Mackey, Co-Founder and CEO of Whole Foods, and Steve Wozniak, Cofounder of Apple and CEO of Zeus. Mackey will be discussing a new system for doing business, and Wozniak will speak on the future of technology.

Of course, there are also dozens of seminars throughout the conference, with topics ranging from current trends in storage solutions, to order picking trends, to tips on managing inventory and reducing waste.

One of the events you won’t want to miss is TubeRack inventor Andrew Kirby, who will be speaking and hosting an in-booth presentation at the Hannibal Shelving booth at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, March 23.

Hannibal Shelving Announces New Location For Storage Solutions

The PROMAT show is the place where the manufacturing and supply chain industry unveils all of its latest and greatest for the year, and in 2015, Hannibal Shelving is no exception. In addition to all the latest advancements that keep Hannibal Shelving an industry leader, we are proud to announce that we are opening yet another U.S. based manufacturing plant, this time in Houston, Texas.

This expansion will allow Hannibal Shelving to grow its business, shipping more than 100,000 tons of heavy duty metal shelving, industrial shelving, and other steel products every year. Selecting Houston as a location for the new plant is a strategic move – not only will it defray shipping costs significantly, it also enforces some of Hannibal Shelving’s core values by creating American jobs, careers, and opportunities.

So come by the Hannibal Shelving booth (MA 1563) if you are attending the PROMAT show this year. We’ve got lots to celebrate, and we’d love to celebrate with you.

Hannibal Industries is well represented here in Atlanta at MODEX with a booth constructed entirely of TubeRack and Metalsistem material handling products. Of course, Hannibal Industries will be there, as always. This year we are proud to sponsor a key seminar. Hannibal Engineer and TobeRack inventor Andrew Kirby will explain  How new groundbreaking developments in tube rack allow for greater flexibility when encountering seismic activity, and how innovations in the materials handling industry allow for lower freight costs and reduced time-to-market for the consumer.
